Privacy & Terms

Who we are

Pablitos is operated by 1001511837 Ontario Inc., a corporation incorporated in Ontario, Canada (Ontario Corporation Number 1001511837), with its registered office at c/o Amed Pacho Sierra, 1025 King Street East, Unit 107, Cambridge, Ontario, N3H 3P5, Canada (“we”, “us”).

Pablitos is a mobile app that turns conversations you have with AI assistants (such as Claude or ChatGPT) into study cards: swipeable cards, multiple-choice quizzes, flip cards, spaced repetition and audio.

Person in charge of the protection of personal information (as Quebec’s Law 25 requires of organisations handling the personal information of Quebec residents): our Privacy Officer, reachable at hola@pablitos.app.

Our establishment in the European Union: Perez Galdos 36, Escalera A, 07006 Palma de Mallorca, Illes Balears, Spain. You may write to us at either address.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

Why we may use it, and on what legal basis

We use the above to provide the service, to keep your account secure, and to meet our legal obligations. For users in the EU/EEA and the UK, the legal bases are performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) for providing the service, and our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for security and abuse prevention. In Canada, we rely on your consent under PIPEDA and Law 25 and collect only what is necessary for the purposes described here. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Your conversations with your AI assistant

We do not read your AI conversations. When you connect an assistant through our official connector, you authorise it — and can revoke that authorisation at any time in Settings. Your assistant writes the cards inside its own conversation and sends us only the finished result. The conversation itself never reaches Pablitos. What your AI provider does with that conversation is governed by their privacy policy, not this one.

Where your data is stored, and transfers

Your account and content are stored in the European Union (database in Ireland) and audio files in Cloudflare R2 under the EU jurisdiction. Because we operate from Canada, your personal information may be accessed from and processed in Canada and, for audio generation, in the United States. For users in Quebec we have carried out the assessment Law 25 requires before communicating personal information outside the province, and we rely on appropriate safeguards (including Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers of EU personal data.

Service providers

We use a small number of processors, each only for what it is named for: Supabase (database and authentication, Ireland), Cloudflare (hosting, file storage and email delivery), OpenAI (text-to-speech only — see AI transparency), and Apple and Google (payments and app distribution).

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your content is deleted; short-lived backups and records we must keep by law are removed on their own schedule, and in any case within 12 months.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can access, correct, delete and export your data, and withdraw your consent, directly in the app under Settings → Account, or by writing to us. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to data portability, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint (see Contact & complaints). We respond within 30 days.

Automated decisions

We do not make any decision about you based exclusively on automated processing, and we do not profile you. Spaced repetition simply schedules when a card comes back; it is a study tool, not an assessment, and it produces no decision affecting your rights.

Children

Pablitos is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 14 (or the minimum age in your country). An adult may of course create study cards for a child using their own account.

If something goes wrong

If a confidentiality incident occurs that presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec and affected users as required by Law 25, and the competent supervisory authority within 72 hours where the GDPR applies.

AI transparency

This section is provided in the interest of transparency and in line with the transparency obligations of the EU AI Act (Article 50), applicable since 2 August 2026.

Terms of Use

By using Pablitos you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Your content

What you create stays yours. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service — to store your content, sync it to your devices, and, if you choose to share a link, show it to whoever receives that link. You are responsible for what you create and share, and for having the right to do so.

Purchases

Acceptable use

Do not use Pablitos to store or distribute unlawful content, to infringe anyone’s rights, to attempt to access other users’ data, or to place a deliberate load on the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability, changes and liability

Pablitos is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for the accuracy of AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under applicable consumer protection legislation. We may update these terms; we will announce material changes in the app with reasonable notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction — without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.

Contact & complaints

For anything at all — privacy requests, questions, problems — write to hola@pablitos.app. We answer within 1–2 business days, and within 30 days for privacy requests.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec if you are in Quebec, or — if you are in the EU/EEA — to the Spanish Agencia Española de Protección de Datos or to the data protection authority of your own country.
